Twin Pregnancy & Chiropractic

I fully believe that chiropractic care while pregnant is essential to your overall well-being. And it’s twice as important while pregnant with twins! At 36 weeks pregnant with twins I have faced my share of issues regarding back pain, pelvic pain, sacrum/sciatic pains, heartburn, ligament pains, nerve issues, etc.. the list goes on and it all started so early in my pregnancy. I honestly believe that the only thing that has gotten me this far in my pregnancy with my sanity and comfort intact is consistent chiropractic care by Dr. Tara. Not only am I still fairly comfortable for carrying two babies, but both babies are head down and have been since week 20, which is necessary for my natural birth wishes. I think this is due solely to weekly pelvic adjustments! Dr. Tara does an amazing job at soothing any discomfort I come up with and making me as comfortable as possible even as we hit month 9 of a multiple pregnancy! I am convinced that I would be in so much more discomfort if it weren’t for seeing her 2-3 times a week. When I talk to other moms pregnant with twins and hear about some of the issues and discomfort they are facing that I’m not, I’m even more convinced and then I quickly urge them to go see Dr. Tara.

Chiropractic care is hands down one of the most important things that has helped me survive a twin pregnancy. I walk in with a list of complaints, and leave feeling so much more comfortable and at ease in my quickly growing body. I can’t count the number of times I’ve looked at my husband and said “Tara is a life-saver!” after coming back from an adjustment! – B.B.

Chiropractic “Changed My Life”

I’m from Venezuela & I came here to visit my family. When I first got here, my family started to talk about how going to a chiropractor has changed their lives. At first, I was like “ok yeah,” & I didn’t think it was a big deal.  Well, I was so wrong!!!

I remembered when I went the first time to get adjusted, it completely changed my life. How come?? Well, I have a birth condition in my legs, one is longer than the other one, I remembered that I told Dr. Tara and in like 5 minutes, after the adjustment, she told me that my legs were even.  I couldn’t believe it at first.  I was so shocked that I even cried on my way home. After 27 years, for the first time, I have my legs even.

I used to workout in Venezuela and I’m doing it here too. I still couldn’t believe it, so, I went to the gym.  I felt the difference on the first machine I worked out with… I just cried! It still amazes me how an adjustment can do that.  It’s just unbelievable. I will always thank Dr. Tara. She really changed my life!  Thank you Dr. Tara. – M.V.

Chiropractic & Reflux

We recently welcomed a sweet little boy into our family. It was not long after bringing him home that we began to notice symptoms consistent with colic/reflux. In addition to having trouble completing feedings, he would cry frequently for long periods of time; most nights, he would cry nonstop for at least three to five hours and there was nothing we could do to console him. My husband’s coworker had recently worked with Dr. Tara and had great success with their newborn, so we decided it was worth pursuing. My husband and I had no experience with a chiropractor and had no idea what to expect. Our appointment with Dr. Tara was wonderful and we loved how she explained everything and was super gentle with our baby. Ever since that first adjustment (and subsequent regular adjustments), we have not had a crying spell that has lasted over an hour and a half or so. There have even been evenings where he has not been fussy at all. It is a relief to see our little guy happier and more comfortable; we feel like we have a normal baby with only normal baby issues now. The drastic decrease in cry time in conjunction with the improvement of other symptoms has been remarkable. Our family is now participating in regular adjustments and reaping the benefits from them. We highly recommend Dr. Tara to anyone considering a chiropractor – her easy-going nature and enthusiasm to help is wonderful.  – M. L.
